Long Overdue Update

Wow - how has 2.5 months flown by so quickly? We have certainly been busy with a variety of things, we just have been terrible about updating the blog. A quick recap of what has gone on:

~The summer concert series with the Bellevue Community Band wrapped up in July
~Traci & Jon were married on August 1st and we were there to see it all happen!
~David participated in the WSU Cougar Alumni Band parade and concert in Skagit County - playing snare drum of all things!
~Patrick & Cheryl were married on August 14th and once again, we were there to see it all happen!
~Sam & Laurie then had their wedding reception/picnic on August 17th which was a lot of fun as well! (Do you see an August trend here?) :)
~There was a short boat outing from Everett to Whidbey Island with David's parents, Dave & Linda that resulted in some great fresh crab!
~Cougar "Seattle Week" hit town and we joined in the fun by attending Jazz Night at Tula's and the WSU football game at Qwest Field.
~We wrapped up August and kicked off September with some fun outings with friends to go bowling, have dinner, and get in a little wine tasting
~David was off to Texas for a few days to hang out with Steve and attend the WSU/Baylor game which happened to coincide with Hurriance Ike's appearance in Texas
~We then headed out to Ocean Shores for a long weekend of relaxation and unfortunately no real kite flying (strange that there was no wind!)
~Last, but not least, Wednesday is my (Heather's) last day at Symetra as I will be starting a new job with Cardiac Science next Monday!

There you have it - the latest updates!!! The hope is that the events will stay more readily updated and also far more entertaining! :) Maybe some pictures will get updated as well!
