Shut the door!

No really, shut the back door!  Our first door has been installed!  We keep joking that we'll soon be locked out of our own place and this just confirms that we are getting closer to that point in time. 

The back door is actually a glass door for even more natural light to come in, it just looks white here due to the protective cardboard.  The kitchen window is to the left and the pantry is to the right:

 Here is the view of the back door from outside (not that it wasn't obvious or anything).  This also shows the kitchen window, this time on the right, the powder bath window to the left of the door and the den windows to the far left.  The windows upstairs are to the second and third bedrooms, or really, the craft room and the exercise room!  You want to know what is all over our backyard?



Funny you should ask, it is roofing remnants from the beginning of the roofing installation!  We took advantage of the nice day and got up in the air for another fly-by of the new house.  It was a bit bumpy but we still managed to get a few great shots of our new roofing and view of the backyard now that the rock wall is in.  Here is one of them that shows all of the recent changes - rock wall, back door, and roofing!  In case you are still not sure which one is ours, it is on the far left of the building:
