In January David had signed up to audition for Sound Wave - the official band of the Sounders FC. Auditions were held the weekend of February 13th and in the evening on Valentine's Day he got "the call" that he was invited to join the band!
Rehearsals started on Saturday, February 20th, and are every Thursday and Saturday for about a month and then the soccer season starts which just means rehearsal about once per week and then a game! There are some nights off depending on how the schedule looks and we'll take advantage of those opportunities whenever possible.
After the first few weeks or rehearsal it seems as though David is really enjoying the group. They are all high caliber musicians and they have fun - not a bad way to spend your time!
