David had the week off so I took Monday off and we headed north! Our first stop was in Mt. Vernon to see the tulips and enjoy all of the beauty they have to offer. Not to mention the great mountain views and the little bits of sunshine we got here and there. Next stop was the Seattle Prime Outlet mall by the Tulalip Casino. We had some great finds there and it was also fun to browse around. After that we headed to Camano Island - we had some time to spare so we headed first to Cama Beach and then to Camano Island State Park to just check things out. It was so peaceful by the water, not many people, fresh air...so glad we made the stop! Our last outing of the day was at the Diamond Knot Camano Lodge for drinks and dinner with Patrick and Terri. Their very own Diamond Knot beers were enjoyable and the food came to the table with an interesting twist - on a stonegrill! We cooked our own food and also got very warm while doing so!!! Those stones are quite hot and not only heat up your food but they also heat up the table and the surrounding area!! After a good meal with great friends we made the trek back to Bellevue. All in all we were gone 12 hours but it was a very fun time together!
