House things are happening!

It is unoficially official that 7A is ours, at least that is what the big board in the model home has to say!  There are just minor things between now and making it official that need to happen.  You know, little things like it needs to finished being built!  Oh, and maybe we need to officially close on it, but hey, it is all a step in the right direction as far as we are concerned!

The top floor is being framed in, so it is really starting to look like our home is coming together!  These were taken on 7/25/12:

On Thursday, 7/26/12, we had a builders meeting to go through a number of our questions and start making our interior selections.  It is once again difficult to be so excited about how it will eventually all come together but have to wait to actually see it all in our home.  This is our selections for the hardwood floor that will be in the kitchen, hallway, and powder bath ("Amber" piece on the left) and the color of cabinetry that will be in the kitchen and all bathrooms (on the right).

We may want to leave a few elements for a big reveal once they are inside our home so this could be the only sneak peek you get of the selected items for now!
