Anyone noticed that we haven't moved in a while??

We are soooo excited to share that we are going to be homeowners!  We have been working on a plan for some time but we weren't finding "our home" in our earlier home searches.  We also knew that we had our vacation to Europe to enjoy (last May/June) and our current apartment lease not yet expired so our plan was to not buy anything right away.

On a whim we came across a great development in Sammamish, Plateau 228, and felt it was the right place for us!  After several visits out to the development and conversations with our agent we made an offer it took about a week or so to come to agreement with the builder.  You see, one of the great things about this place is that it is currently under construction so we not only have a chance to do a few customizations but it should be finished around January 2013 which is perfect for us!

So, what are we getting?  A fantastic new home!  It has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, den and entertainment room, a small yard, and lots and lots of windows!

Over time we will update the blog with construction updates, more pictures and of course, our excitement as it gets closer to being ours!  In the meantime we have plenty for you to look at!

"It's a bird, it's a plane, oh wait, it's actually your new neighbors acting as the eye in the sky!"  We took advantage of our ability to get into the air and flew over our new home to gain a different perspective.  It was so great to see it all from the air.
