Coming right along...

The house is really coming along, there were just a few weeks that didn't have much going on so there didn't seem to be a lot to report about!  But a few really notable things include:

A garage door!  We are now locked out of the house for checking in on the latest updates unless we go when an onsite agent is there.  While it can prove to be difficult for timing purposes, it is a good thing in terms of progress!

And behind that garage door was some great stuff a few weeks back - cabinetry, doors, and trim! 

They also were able to get the texture onto the walls which yet again makes it feel very real in terms of it looking like a place to live!

This past weekend our visit brought some very pleasant surprises - all of those cabinets, doors, and trim in the garage were not in there...they were in their rightful places throughout the house!  This first view shows the door trim and closet doors in the guest bedroom/workout room.

By far the most exciting and long awaited sight to see was the kitchen.  Once those cabinets appeared it really started looking like the real thing!  I believe my exact quote was "wow, I have a whole new level of excitement about the house now!"  We are very happy with our cabinetry finish selection and can visualize what it will look like with the appliances.

 Still a lot of little things that need to be done - all of this trim, the doors, etc. all need to be painted, outlets to be added in, lighting, sinks, flooring...the list goes on.  But still very exciting to see this step in the process!
