The "Annoying Plane Passenger" - you know the type, the person that ends up near you that just can't seem to let you enjoy your plane ride in peace. There always seems to be something going on that creates distrubance and you just can't help but be annoyed. Thankfully we were not subject to any annoying plane passengers, but I must share that this time, the person was David! :)
Even more thankfully for me, he was not annoying me! It was the unfortunate guy seated in front of me that ended up being disturbed by David's antics. First it was the water bottle. The Camel Bak bottle was about half full with water when we boarded the plane. Since it is plastic it has no room to expand when under pressure and thus, when David went to take a drink during flight, the water started spewing everywhere like a water fountain. It didn't stop until it successfully sprayed the guy in front of me. Enter wild laughter from the two of us because it was really darn funny!
But wait, there's more! Next/last was the Alaska Airlines napkin. David had scrunched it up and decided to toss it toward me. I reciprocated by tossing it back his way. Well, apparently his mad ninja skills took over and he swatted it mid-air. I bet you can guess where it went! None other than the guy seated in front of me. Once again we were overtaken by wild laughter and I am sure this poor guy was wondering how the two "hooligans" were able to get seated behind him in first class.
Even through these interesting times we managed to make it to Honolulu on an uneventful flight and began to enjoy the wonderul weather immediately! ~Heather
