Oahu to Maui

Day Four - Thursday the 21st we hopped over to Maui from Oahu. Definitely getting closer to the wedding now! :) We applied for our marriage license at the home office of Cynthia Wolfe, and while it was a crazy small office, it was a very quick transaction once the couple ahead of us got finished up. They did not complete their application in advance like we did so it took them longer! Everyone who knows that I am a planner can appreciate that sentiment!

Next stop, Five Palms, to see Katherine and finalize all of the details for the wedding day from the ceremony setup to the dinner after the fact. We had some decisions to make about our wine offerings so we had a quick tasting and that was also quite nice! After that we met up with Melissa who was staying at the Mana Kai (above the Five Palms) and had been lounging outside in the sun when we said hello!

We then got ourselves into our home away from home for the rest of our Hawaiian getaway at the Island Surf. We rented a condo that was on the fifth floor and had two lanai's with water views and access just across South Kihei Road. A quick shopping trip later and we had food to eat and had settled in quite nicely to our new place.
